On Friday the EBB Pro was held at mouse traps in Yallingup. it was a good day for the locals with most of them progressing to the second round. the waves were small, but gave the pros a chance to flaunt their skills and fight for their right to get into the final rounds.
the Cadet boys heats and quarters were ran on saturday in big, onshore conditions at Injidup carparks. Tom Purvis managed to surf well enough to get to the semis and garantee his place in the state team and Lewy and George both progressed to seperate semi-finals. it appears that they will be fighting it out in the final for 1st place today, both with a 1st and 2nd result from the first two state titles. today the comp is being held at boneyards as well as the EBB Pro.
