the mess fest

a.k.a "the fest of mess" was a skate comp/festival that was held on Sunday afternoon.
All day long was hectic and un-organised, leaving a trail of rubbish and debris.

but somehow, i came out of it a happy chappy. i got a new board, watched Rowe and Rex fight out for first place, saw a new spray come together piece by piece on the zone room wall, and watched t.p. stuff his face with spaghetti, marshmallows and chocolate sauce; at the same time! What more could you want???

but in the mean time, there is 6 days of school left, one being pretty much a muck-up day.
although I'm stoked I'm also jealous of other schools because they finished either last Friday or yesterday.

back to the topic of what i am sure you all came to this web domain to read,

BODYBOARDING & SURFING!

i surfed the womb on Saturday, it was clean, small and fun. in the afternoon we went fishing and i haven't surfed since that Saturday morning.

Creed and Shaun green won the junior school surf titles,

Matt and Jethro won the senior school surf titles, and

Laura and Bronte came runner-up in the senior girls school surf titles.

that puts us as the best surfing school in Australia.

im going surfing this afternoon even though the winds look fairly heavy. be sure to head for a surf this friday, light offshores pretty much all day. hopefully see you out there!

btw, CLAWS AND TEETH updated the blog. Congratulations on a whole year of blogging guys and i look forward to seeing pastiche in the coming months.

Hopefully we get some waves like this soon!

catch!

freedom!

Another word for the weekend. Escaping the daily routine for a short period of time.

Yesterday arvo (friday), Kyle, Tom and me surfed the Box, both on youriding and in the real world. and to be honest the only difference was that rush of adrenalin and excitment you get when you surf any world class wave. It was pretty solid with the sets being 4 ft, and in between sets there was many north peak wedges to be had.

IF ONLY:

1. there was a slight offshore, and not a slight onshore

2. i had my camera and housing.

then life would be perfect.

but until then, have a happy weekend.

and expect to see plenty of sick box sessions about a month from now on this blog.

BYE FOR NOW, NOT FOR LONG!
